Manchester City have received a major boost on the attacking front as they prepare for the big game with Tottenham Hotspur this weekend. The Spurs vs. Man City clash at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening is the pick of the new set of Premier League matches between Saturday and Monday.

Ahead of the game, Manchester City have been boosted with the news that two of their attacking talents have returned to training and they could feature for the Citizens during the game. Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero are two of the best attacking talents at Manchester City and both players are back in training to boost the club in time for the Spursgame.

Raheem Sterling got injured during the international break and he was a doubt for the Spurs game. During his pre-match press conference for the league match with Tottenham Hotspur, Pep Guardiola told reporters that England international Raheem Sterling trained for the first time on Friday thereby putting himself in the frame for the trip to North London.

Club legend Sergio Aguero has returned to training after recovering from the injury problem that he picked up during the Premier League clash with West Ham United last month. He sustained the injury during the game which ended in a 1-1 draw at the home of the Hammers.

Aguero and Sterling are expected to be in the Manchester City squad for the Spurs game after they returned to training. Pep Guardiola also gave an injury update on the duo of Nathan Ake and club skipper Fernandinho. Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho has been injured since the Champions League clash at home to FC Porto last month, while Nathan Ake sustained his injury while he was with the Dutch national team. According to Pep Guardiola, Nathan Ake and Fernandinho are out of the Spurs game.
